The Coleridge Way
I've just returned from three days walking along the Coleridge Way in Somerset. The countryside is stunning: a lush patchwork of ochre, gold and every shade of green, the red soil baked by the summer sun. There are hills to climb and streams to cross. Wild raspberries to nibble and wild honeysuckle to sniff. And a vast sky. A special place to visit at any time of year but at the moment particularly beautiful as the clear light meant we could see for miles. My novel, Wyld Dreamers, which is set in this part of Somerset in the Brendon Hills, is published this autumn. As soon as I have a copy of the cover, I'll put it on my website.
