Second novel

I've just finished the first draft of my second novel and still settling on a name for it. The novel is set in Somerset, one of them most beautiful counties in England and a landscape that's never left me. I lived there for a few years after leaving school. Some of the things I learnt remain part of my daily life - growing vegetables and cooking, for example. Other skills I use less frequently, milking cows and driving tractors. Writing the novel has brought into delicious soft focus a remembrance of times past.
