Meeting readers

It's been fascinating to meet readers at Suffolk events I've done this summer at Southwold Library and Felixstowe Library earlier this summer. One 92-year-old woman said she had worked in the kitchen at Holland House, where Mildred lived. She remembered the stories that were passed down through the years among staff about the Hollands and Mildred's work in St Mary's, in particular.
